In his early 20’s, Chad started Pops Pizza Spot with his family as a weekend business. He wanted to bring the taste of New York style pizza and calzones to East Tennessee with a mobile restaurant. He used his knowledge from Mr. Gagliano to handcraft his sauces, as well as the dough. The Calzone sauce is simmered over 12 hours. He also creates his own garlic butter for Pops Garlic Knots.

 

At Pops you’ll find New York style pizza crust, which is thin and crunchy with traditional Brooklyn favorites like Pops White Pizza and Sausage Rolls. We cook our pizza, calzones, knots and rolls in Blodgett pizza ovens, the best stone pizza ovens in the industry.
